Actually the Wow Towel, this year’s coolest product, developed by a guy who lost his job, should be the start of an idea fest for some clever entrepreneur. Selling beach-related products like the WOW TOWEL with its umbrella hole in the middle and four corner pockets (which also hold the towel down on windy days), is a quick way to jump into a market. Sell sun tan lotion (even super-size) and water and chap-stick and cheap sunglasses. Sell what people “forget” to bring to the beach. How about cheap headrests? How about rental items like giant beach balls and two-person rafts?
