
Artists need good marketing, but art shows and traditional venues don’t show the paintings to people with the money and need to show art. New hotels and motels, new restaurants, office buildings, and professional clinics and waiting rooms could all use some original art. (It is a business expense and an investment.)
An online catalog, viral marketing, and short presentations with handouts and sampler information is the name of the game. Matching the correct art with the tastes and needs of the customer is a needed skill. When my mother died, her New England fishermen paintings went into a seafood restaurant in Florida.
