Heading For A Global Workplace

As the world grows smaller and flatter, there is developing a class of globe-traveling professionals who may be a citizen of their motherland but spend most of their money and investment in another land.  Many of them are “brains for hire to the highest bidder” or Internet gurus whose office is a lab-top.  But others are working for multi-national franchises.

People looking for future job opportunities as self-employed business owners should consider following the trail of money.  This is not such a radical outlook since English is the global language of business and Americans working for overseas firms pay no U.S. income tax on their first $80,000 income.

Where are these places?   Lands with great  respect for property rights, low taxes, a degree of political stability, and friendliness to foreign residents.  People are headed to Costa Rica, Belize, Turks and Calicos, Singapore, Malaysia, and probably parts of Eastern Europe
