Teach Kids and Adults How To Search

I recently watched a "terrible" TV ad promoting Verizon web services using a group of kids. As an educator for forty years I resented the ad's notion that learning was just finding facts on the Internet. It also insulted the usage of libraries.

What I also realized is that while people (particularly young people) are good at locating information on the Internet, they don't know how to maximize their research efforts, locate "hidden" online resources, and apply their new knowledge to solving problems.  The Internet saves time and effort only if you fully know how to use it.

A great home business is to train both college-bound students, adults, and business on how to use the Internet to its fullest capacity and where to find hard to locate data.
